When the Colonel recovered from the battle he changed out his shorts and ordered up reinforcements. "Boys," he told the men, "Them ork's is playin' for keeps. Break out the General Leeman." The boys whooped and hollered, grabbed a few extra friends, dusted off the sentinel for good measure and formed up. "Oh and this time, give Cletus the flamer-he cain't miss with that!"
Meanwhile, Da Boss had his mech boyz whip him up some rides from the tractors and other rigs they had been stealin'. Things were about to ramp up. Y'all pull up a stump and hear what happened next.
The vets high-tailed it over behind the church, thinking they might need to sneak up behind the cans and use their melta guns on 'em. The Colonel learned his lesson good from the last battle. The moved the command squad over behind the parson's truck to set up his flamers. He had the missile teams open up on the closest Killa Kans. For once their aim was true and down went the cans on the right. Pity there were two more on the left. The General Leeman open fired on the looted wagon and stunned the crew. The blast also hit the truck next to it and took it. A couple orks was too slow and got taken out in the blast but the rest made it out and were madder than cut snakes. The other truck drove forward and the Lootas opened up on the General to no effect. One of the Killa Kans took out the Sentinel though. Looks like old Dingy Pete would have his work cut out at him back at the shop fixin' her up again.
Undaunted ('cept the boys from the blown up truck-they weren't moving!) the orks surged forward.
Meanwhile, the tank took out the remaining truck and a couple boys while the vets in the church took out one of the Killa Kans.
The Colonel and his boys stepped up and hosed down the orks with their flamers, then, with showing he had stones the size of Rita Jorgston's famous grox pies he charged into the orks! The warboss was a bit quicker and cut down two lads. The Colonel struck back and killed two orks leading to a draw. The Killa Kan dove into the frey! The Colonel looked back at the vets to charge in but they knew they were no match for the Kan and they stood their ground behind the church. The second command squad slid into position and the General Leeman, having thinned down they other group of boys turned to face the remaining orks. The Warboss decided he'd had enough and high-tailed it out of there to fight another day. Everyone was happier than a Pterra Squirrel at a nut farm, 'cept the Cololen of course, Emperor rest his soul.
Them orks had been stopped...for now.
